Carpenters Bluff Ride 2006

I had been doing some short trips on Elke to get back into the swing of riding again. My first ride of a couple of hundred miles was straight north from my house across the Red River over the old railroad trestle bridge at Carpenters Bluff. The bridge has been converted to a single-lane motor vehicle bridge. Lots of history here. Note the hand-drawn route… This ride was in the days when I did not have a GPS with routing capabilities.
